We are the field opens this Friday, March 1 from 6-9pm

Please join us this Friday, March 1 from 6-9pm at Scrawl Center for Drawing for our one-night installation We are the field.  This installation includes work we produced during our residency at LOOP Arts in February.


Proposal for a definition of the field versus the point:  The field is a space from which activities and/or objects emerge but it does not declare a single point of arising, a single location of etymology.  The field acts as a rich metaphor connoting abundance, genetic mixing, and time-based processes. 

Drawing as an act of composition-building creates relationships between objects (points) in space or objects (points) in a field (paper, a room, the world). 

ap-art-ment is the recipient of the LOOP Arts Grant

ap-art-ment is thrilled to be the first recipient of the LOOP Arts Grant!  We were able to print more than a few large-scale photos on LOOP Arts' large inkjet printer!  Thanks so much LOOP Arts.

We received the grant to print images for our upcoming show at Scrawl Center for Drawing.  The photos will be a part of an installation called "We are the field."
